About Storydance - Group Information

In their pre-school year parents may leave and the group becomes more focussed on imaginative movement themes and stories.

Older children frequently enjoy dancing on their own or in pairs, allowing their self-confidence to build. In addition to having both cognitive and physical development supported, children also learn a multitude of social skills such as turn taking, putting things away and how to manage conflict.

I teach all the classes’ myself and have devised all my own material, which is constantly growing and developing. This gives me the opportunity to respond to the needs of the group in the moment, changing the session plan according to what it is that is catching the interest of the group.
